49 trips around the sun.💪🏻

Today was exactly what I needed—time with family, watching soccer⚽️, slowing down, and appreciating how fortunate I am. Content. Grateful. Appreciative for all I’ve experienced and Looking forward to what’s ahead.

The older I get, the less I care about chasing youth and the more I care about earning the years ahead. Staying strong. Staying healthy. Being present for the people who matter most.

I’m grateful for my family, friends, patients, teammates, and everyone who’s been part of the journey.

Here’s to embracing 49, finishing my 40s strong, and continuing to play the long game.

Tired of the noise in the longevity space? The plasma exchanges. The peptide stacks. The $40,000 IV drips. The influencers debating which sauna protocol unlocks immortality — while most Americans aren't sleeping, aren't moving, and are getting 60% of their calories from a factory.
We're here to keep you grounded. Real science. Real basics. Real talk. From two physicians actually doing the work at home and in the lab.

Your body hasn’t changed as much as your environment has.

For thousands of years, your gut was fueled by fiber-rich, unprocessed foods.
Today, most people barely get close to what their biology expects.

That gap?
It’s not small. And it’s not harmless.

Low fiber intake doesn’t just affect digestion.
It disrupts your gut bacteria, increases inflammation, and quietly sets the stage for long-term disease.

This is what we call an evolutionary mismatch.
Your body is still running on ancient programming… but living in a modern environment.

The good news?
You don’t need extremes to fix it. You need consistency.
Start small. Build gradually. Stay intentional.

Because longevity isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing what your body was designed for.

Follow for more insights on how to close the gap between modern life and optimal health.

What do you want your life to look like at 70? At 80? Not just alive — but thriving.
That vision is built one data point at a time. VOâ‚‚ max and DEXA are two of the most powerful predictors of how long you'll live and how well you'll live. Most people don't know their numbers until something goes wrong.
Know them before it does. Start playing the long game.
Your future self will thank you. 🙏

I don’t take today for granted. As the son of immigrants, and having had the privilege of serving in the U.S. Navy, Independence Day has always meant more than fireworks. It’s a reminder of the opportunities this country has made possible.

This year feels even more special watching U.S. soccer have a real shot on the world stage. As someone who played soccer in college, it’s incredible to see the sport getting the attention and belief it deserves here.

Happy Fourth of July — here’s to freedom, opportunity, family, health, and playing the long game. 🇺🇸

Sixteen years. Three incredible kids. A business we’ve built together. Countless memories.

We’ve experienced our share of wins and losses, celebrations and heartbreak, successes and setbacks. Through every season, we’ve kept choosing each other.

At MD Longevity Lab, we often talk about playing the long game. I’ve realized that’s not just the key to health—it’s the key to marriage, family, and a meaningful life.

I’m grateful I get to play the long game with you.

Here’s to 16 years, and many more ahead. ❤️

Most people are told their cholesterol is “normal.”
But here’s the truth… that doesn’t always mean your risk is low.

Traditional tests focus on LDL-C.
But LDL-C only tells part of the story.

👉 What actually matters is ApoB
The number of particles that can enter your arteries and cause damage.

That’s why people with “normal” cholesterol still experience heart attacks.
This is where prevention changes everything.

When you measure the right markers early, you move from guessing… to knowing.
And from reacting… to preventing.

Your future health isn’t defined by what’s standard.
It’s defined by what’s measured.

🎙️ NEW EPISODE — Your Health Is Their Inheritance
Longevity has a reputation for being selfish. Biohacker bros, blood transfusions, $40,000 plasma exchanges.
This episode is the rebuttal.
The average American lives to 77. The average American is healthy until 63.
That's a 14-year gap of decline at the end. Somebody is going to live through those years with you. Your spouse. Your kids. Statistically, your daughter.

A few numbers:
→ 53 million Americans currently provide unpaid care to an aging family member
→ Lifetime cost to one caregiver: $300,000
→ Nursing homes: $116,000/year, mostly out of family pocket
→ Family caregivers become the next patient

This is the actual inheritance most Americans are leaving. And it's not in anyone's will.
Caring about your healthspan in midlife isn't vanity. It's the most generous thing you will ever do for the people you love.

Same work, two gifts. They get you longer. You get the second half of your life you actually want.
Your health is their inheritance. Make sure it's a good one.
