Downtown Arcadia had gathering places like the Arcadia Cafe, where locals met for coffee, conversation, and a hot meal.

This photograph, taken in the 1920s, captures a bustling street filled with early automobiles and storefront awnings that welcomed shoppers from across South Florida.

It's amazing how much has changed—and how much of our historic downtown is still recognizable today.
