Voter Education Event @ Cabrillo Next Tuesday--

There's a lot on our ballots this November. Here's an event that might answer some of your questions...

Join CalMatters, Santa Cruz Local, and Cabrillo College for Voting Matters: an election education event for students. You'll have the chance to win prizes, learn everything you need to know about this year's election, and get tools to shape your future.

When: Tuesday, Oct. 15, 12:30-2pm (Don't worry if you arrive late, we won't really start rolling until 12:40 or so)
Where: Horticulture 5005

Lunch will be provided to all attendees. Please RSVP by Monday 10/14 to attend.

I had the opportunity to participate in the Health Improvement Partnership (HIP) of Santa Cruz County Community Forum: Celebrating 20 Years of Collaboration last Thursday.
It was a nice opportunity to network and celebrate with many of the movers and shakers in the Health and Human Services Programs in Santa Cruz County.
