Posting this on the feed because it’s wild that brands just throw around “research” without backing it up. And villainizing products that have been around/are cheaper, tried and true, AND dermatologist recommended is wild. I’m pro petroleum jelly but also pro whatever works best for your skin! I use mango butter and she’s in moisturizers but have used aquaphor for all my healing and have never had issues (besides with saniderm, don’t get me started on adhesives). And anti spending more $$ on brands that convince you they’re hot s**t! I linked a good scientific overview in my stories but will post a couple other links in the comments.
• I should also mention that I’m a published coauthor in scientific journals so I take my research seriously (I have a rare bone disease and work with a team of doctors/research specialists).
