September Bonsai Workshop
Our September workshop is a great opportunity for anyone interested in Bonsai to get a great start or expand your collection. We love working with anyone who has an interest in this great art. The Fox Valley Bonsai Society members will help attendees select inexpensive nursery stock that are ideal for bonsai. We will then assist you in styling the nursery stock, changing it from a nursery plant to a nice Bonsai. There is no fee for the workshop. You don't even need to buy a pre-Bonsai nursery stock. You can just watch and listen - but what is the fun in that? If you decide to attend, don't be shy. Please come in, introduce yourself and say you are interested in Bonsai. We will guide you from there. So if you are a newbie or have Bonsai but would like to expand your collect, please join us on Saturday September 12 from 10 am to 2pm at Vande Hey's nursery, N2093 County N, Appleton. Take County N north of 41 about 2 miles until you see Vande Heys on your left, traveling North.

Art in the Park was a rousing success with an almost continuous stream of interested people and about 100 new emails to add to our mailing list. Here are a couple of pictures from the booth:

The Fox Valley Bonsai Society April meeting will be on Tuesday April 12, starting at 7pm at Pillars, 601 E. Hancock, Appleton. Everyone with an interest in Bonsai is welcome.
