It’s Flag Day Parade weekend in Downtown Appleton! 🇺🇸

Join the community this Saturday, June 13, as the City of Appleton Parades hosts the 75th Annual Flag Day Parade, an Appleton tradition and the nation’s oldest Flag Day parade! The parade steps off at 2 PM and celebrates our nation, veterans, and the American flag with marching bands, patriotic displays, and community pride. Make sure to check out the special performances before and after the parade as well!

Make a day of it, shop the Farm Market and the Downtown boutiques in the morning, grab lunch, then find your spot along the parade route!

Farm Market visitors: Please note that the Downtown Appleton Farm Market will end early this Saturday at 12 PM (instead of 12:30 PM) to allow time to prepare for the parade route and related road closures.

Additionally, there is a top-notch chat feature during business hours available at https://dva.wi.gov. They are VERY responsive and excellent at addressing your questions!

The MyWisVets website will tell you which documents to upload depending on the application. They are typically VERY quick to approve it if you qualify and have provided the supporting documentation. They are also quick to help identify any missing items; they will send you a simple email with remaining items.

Our CVSO recently applied for the WI Property Tax Credit and was approved with the WDVA PDF file in his email in less than 24 hours after uploading the required documents (and no, not because he's the CVSO - they're just that good).
