Many, many aspects of Vedic culture, Dharma, and Yoga are misunderstood by the current world and this include modern India. Modern India is a degraded and spoiled version due to Islamic, and British colonialism, which poluted Her culture.
We must turn to teachers and Gurus who are firmly rooted in this knowledge to gain proper understandong of the symbols, practices, and teachings to gain clarity. Some of these teachers can be found here in the US: Dr. Svaboda, Dr. Frawley, and Dr. Lad. I am personally greatful for this.
