Let’s talk about her hair, our process and why k-Tips 🩷

My client had been platinum for a long time but had been going to several different stylists and as a result of different stylists, techniques, and over processing her hair became extremely damaged quickly. We’re seeing lots of breakage, banding, and her roots were not lifted to the correct level. She was also wearing weft extensions which we love, but due to the breakage she wasn’t able to hide them any longer.

So now what?

We lifted her roots slowly and carefully, pretoned and toned her hair. Her ends are extremely porous so you can see in the photos they have overtoned even though I was very careful with the placement and timing of my toner. These things happen sometimes-she’ll be coming in next week to tone the extensions again and we’ll continue working toward correcting the damage and evening out her color.
