Trades of Hope was founded with a goal in mind of creating a lasting solution to the atrocities that poverty perpetuates. Giving a woman a sustainable business empowers her to change her own circumstances in a dignified and lasting way. Trades of Hope is helping artisans in over 16 countries support their families and themselves through earning a consistent income, many for the first time.

Tessa TeGrootenhuis, Compassionate Entrepreneur for Trades of Hope, will donate a beautifully handcrafted cap or scarf for the first 10 orders through October to Joy Hair Studio at the St Elizabeth Hospital Cancer Center in Appleton and Oasis Hair Studio at the Michael D Wachtel Cancer Center in Oshkosh.
