The Airborne Jumps in Angoville, France was a highlight of my trips. Very proud of my buddy for jumping in. It was an honor to meet and chat with and the rest of . Then we all met for beers and conversations at the church in town. Which is very historic. The 11th-century Église Saint-Côme-et-Saint-Damien in Angoville-au-Plain, France, is most famous for its heroic role during World War II. On D-Day, June 6, 1944, two U.S. medics from the 101st Airborne Division set up a neutral aid station in the church, treating 80 wounded American and German soldiers and a local child.

My buddy Jon Harmon jumped into Angoville, France last night. 🇺🇸🪂

Jon is a double amputee, an Afghanistan War veteran, and a former paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division.

To say I’m proud of him would be an understatement. He’s been talking about this jump for months and seeing it finally happen during the D-Day anniversary events was incredible. His exit was ugly, his canopy flight was smooth, and he absolutely stuck the landing.

Watching a warrior like Jon continue to push himself and live life without excuses is inspiring. The crowd loved it, and so did we.

Proud of you, brother. See you at work. 🤙🏻🇺🇸

It is with profound sadness that we share the untimely passing of our friend and former podcast guest, Steve Janke.

Steve was a Marine Corps veteran, successful business owner, devoted father, and a true titan in the veteran advocacy space.

I first met Steve while working for the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs. From day one, he was relentlessly pursuing his mission of helping veterans at the highest level, not just here at home, but around the world. His passion, drive, and commitment to serving others were unmatched.

Steve left a lasting mark on me personally, on the Fragout Podcast, and on countless veterans whose lives were better because of his work. His impact will continue to be felt for years to come.

Steve, you’re already missed, brother. Thank you for your friendship, your leadership, and everything you did for the veteran community.

Rest easy.
