The activity is nonstop at the Early Figwort (Scrophularia lanceolata)
While tiny and often overlooked by humans Figworts both Early and Late offer full season, high value nectar that will make your native space more busy than any human airport.

You may not know figworts now, but sow some seed for both in fall, and you will soon fall in love with the power of the tiny, but mighty Figwort flower.

The micro-pollinators are madly in love with this minute native flower.
Early Figwort (Scrophularia lanceolata) floods itself with nectar anytime it senses pollinators are near.
Many plants actively produce nectar upon "hearing" pollinators!
How smart is that?
