Sometimes I think floristry is just a made up world because we have to makeshift create and jerry rig so many parts of this job🤣

None of these ideas came from my own brain!! Very grateful for generous and creative florists before me who share their tips and tricks✨

Weeks like Mother’s Day can feel like a giant blur, so it’s so important for me to slow down for a minute and remember the humans I got to flower for:

🌸The husband that always orders for his wife and writes the same note for me every time: do your thing. I trust you.

🌸The old man who has started come to me so I can make a dozen roses for his wife of 60 YEARS- and one of maybe 5 people I would do a last minute dozen roses for the day before Mother’s Day🤓 I asked if he wanted to sit while I made it for him and said “oh no, if I sit I’ll never be able to get up”😁

🌸 the man who called about a special order …”my mom recently got married to a woman so I need 2 arrangements this year!”

🌸 The woman who has ordered from me a handful of time for her mom and wrote the google review in the last slide. “Believe the hype!” has me chuckling. I didn’t know I had hype?!🤣

And of course my tomato bouquet for Gisela!
