I made over 400 photos while on our recent trip to ...all on my phone! It's hard to narrow them down, but here are a few composites of food, landscapes, people, and more. I've captioned each set.

$14,721. That's the approximate cost per gallon for ink for our HP office printer.

I paid $105 this morning for CMY ink this morning, which contain about 9ml per cartridge. This multi pack didn't even include the black cartridge. The printer is nothing out of the ordinary, just a pretty normal inkjet printer.

If you've ever wondered why they can afford to practically give away printers, this is why. They make their money from the ink. Of course, the costs have increased about 30% due to tariffs over the past few months.

Just one more reason why it's so difficult for a small business to make it these days.

Hi Everyone! I'd like to tell you the story behind my amazing new headshot that I posted here.

I met Dave from David Anderson Photography at a recent League of Conservation Voters event. We had a great conversation, and he suggested that we meet for coffee to discuss how he might be able to help me in my campaign. When we met up the following week, he offered to donate his services by providing headshots for use in my campaign! I was absolutely stunned and thrilled that someone of his stature would donate his services to me - and let me just say that this is not the only amazing photo he took of me! I am over the moon about this headshot and the others that I will be sharing!

Before I decided to run for office, I really didn't get why every campaign begs for money. Now I understand how every mailer that you receive, every sign that is displayed, every event that you attend, and every ad that you see has a price tag. And when you are trying to flip a seat against a party that has been in office for decades, it takes even more. In my case, my goal is to raise $100K.

Needless to say, I am grateful beyond words for this donation from David Anderson Photography and for every donation, no matter where you live in the United States, that I receive.
