88 days. That’s how long Gonzo has been at the shelter waiting for someone to give him the love he’s never known. Most puppies are adopted within days, but somehow, this 10-month-old sweetheart is still here—growing up in a kennel instead of a home.💔

Gonzo arrived at just 7 months old, underweight and with damage to his back legs from being confined in a tiny space. We thought his luck would turn around quickly, but here we are, still waiting for his special person to walk through the door. 🥺

Despite everything, Gonzo never stops wagging his tail. To him, the shelter is the best he’s ever had—but that’s what breaks our hearts the most. He doesn’t realize there’s so much more waiting for him outside these walls: a warm bed, belly rubs, and a family to love him forever.🐶💕

Gonzo is playful, affectionate, and eager to learn. He just needs a little training and, most importantly, someone willing to show him what it’s like to be part of a family.

⏰Tuesdays 10am to 3pm
Wednesday 10am to 6pm
Thursday through Saturday 10am to 3pm
AND this Sunday 10am to 3pm
