Area 301 brings it front and center with a passion for showcasing their undeniable talent and love for music while keeping it real and close to home. Longtime High school buddies, “Jumaane Face''(Vocalist) and “J-Mackie” (vocalist) have always shared the same dream of putting together a Maryland-based band of local talent. After years of scouting, fine-tuning the area’s best talent in 2013, they then went on to win the 2016 Maryland Music Awards Best Hip Hop R&B artist of the year, being the highest honor in the state of Maryland. The members being that of Mark "Showtime'' Brown on Drums, Lovell Brown on Bass Guitar, Adam “AI” Lacarino on Lead Guitar, and last but not least Will "Benny" Fortune on the Keys. These Players are the heartbeat of the group as their pulsating beats pe*****te through the audience. On one hand, you have “Jumaane Face” ripping into your mind with some hardcore, heavy-hitting, and street pounding rhymes that take you to the edge, and then countering is “J-Mackie'' who with his silky smooth street driven lyrical alchemy assertion brings a unique Hip Hop vibe that elevates the stage to a whole new level. Alongside with the strong hype storyteller and melodic vocalist, "Fatts" coming straight at the vein! The authenticity of the ensemble rounds out with the sultry and alluring voice of songstress and vocalist “Lady G” who completes the evolution of this hip hop fusion. Together the dynamics of this group undoubtedly demand attention as their excitement and overall passionate vibes with every performance. With their hard work, consistency, dedication to performances they recently won 2024 Maryland Music Awards alongside with additional music awards and nominations around the DMV region. Today, they’re in the studio finishing up their next album so be ready, Area 301 is comin’ 2025!
