Folks in my neighborhood and all around District 46 demanded this change and I was glad to vote for it. Kudos to my colleague, bill sponsor Delegate Jackie Addison!
Thank you to for working to stop illegal Virginia tags in Maryland.
More often than not, I have encountered an impatient and reckless driver with VA Tags on our roadways. You and I can do something about it, REPORT THEM!!

On March 24, I had the opportunity to sit down with the Maryland Transit Administration for their series, The People of the Red Line.
To me, the Red Line is more than a transit project. It’s a matter of justice, environmental stewardship, and economic opportunity. As the only car-free member of the Maryland General Assembly, representing a city where nearly 30% of residents rely entirely on public transportation, I know firsthand how vital this project is.
In 2011, I founded a political action committee to support the Red Line. Since being elected, I’ve continued to be one of its most vocal champions in the legislature.
This project will create over 10,000 good-paying jobs and generate transformative economic activity for our district and Baltimore.
I remain committed to working alongside Governor Moore and all our partners to ensure the Red Line becomes a reality. Stay tuned for the release of my episode.

Running back to floor after dinner break. Ran into press scrum where David Moon, House Democratic Majority Leader, and Jazz Lewis, House Democratic Whip, explain all we accomplished this Session to protect the people of Maryland. Really proud of them. First amendment rights, Immigration protections, budget, and more.
