Your sew-in shouldn’t just look good the first few days… it should still be looking good WEEKS later. And that comes down to how you take care of it at home.

✨ The goal: long-lasting, comfortable, and keeping your real hair healthy underneath

Here’s what actually makes a difference:

• Brush it every day (the right way)
Start at the ends and work your way up, and hold your weft so you’re not pulling. This keeps everything smooth without putting stress on your install

• Keep your scalp clean
A clean scalp is everything. Just be gentle and focus in between your rows — no need to drench everything

• Make sure it’s fully dry
Don’t leave your bonds damp (the roots) That’s how you get irritation, smell, or slipping

• Don’t overload it with products
Heavy oils and buildup will weigh your extensions down over time, oil at the ends is a yes, oil at the roots is a no!

• Protect it at night
Satin or silk is a MUST. It helps prevent tangling, frizz, and keeps your wefts looking fresh

• Give it a break from tight styles
Constant tension isn’t doing your natural hair (or your install) any favors

• Keep up with your maintenance!!!
Regular move-ups + check-ins = everything stays secure and healthy
