The Program for Multicultural Health develops culturally responsive initiatives in partnership with community that enhance overall health & well-being by increasing knowledge, skills, and health equity.

Maureen Kenny is a master's student at the University of Michigan School of Public Health with her coursework / research is focused on health policy and maternal and child health. This year she is supporting Program for Multicultural Health as an intern through the Public Health Action Support Team (PHAST).

Maureen has a bachelor's in political science and global affairs from the University of Notre Dame where she learned the value of diverse perspectives in achieving human development goals. Her time serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, West Africa, underscored this value and ignited her passion for women's health outreach and advocacy.

In her current role as a program evaluation intern, she aims to collect valuable feedback from community participants and translate those insights into meaningful enhancements to program delivery.
