Tyler Duncan
Three years in the making . . . Siomha's debut album, Infinite Space, is finally out! So much love, care, mastery, commitment, and fiery ass courage went into this album, it's bursting at the seams. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I couldn't be happier with the lifelong friendships, connections, learning, and memories this project brought into my life. This album feels like a novel – there is a lot, a LOT, in here. The process of making it also feels like a novel. There's no better feeling than to make a thing because you hope it will offer something meaningful to the world, and when it's done, you feel like you did your best, everyone did their best, no one held back, and to feel that bitter sweet nostalgia of the journey being over. I've come to realize I have no way to tell what music is good, great, amazing, terrible, a masterpiece, conventional . . . I've lost all ability to guess. But I know when I have this feeling, that's all I can hope for. Thank you to Siomha and Martin for trusting me to help bring this into the world, I'll cherish our journey forever.
Sometimes I write lil tidbits for myself to internalize certain sounds/feelings . . . I thought I would start to share some of them. Here's the classic “All The Things You Are,” hope you enjoy! shall hence forth be the hashtag for such sonic musings!
