Athletes ask us this every week. Why are we lifting when I want to jump higher?

Power is force times velocity. You can train velocity all day with plyos and jump work. We do. That work matters. But if the force side of that equation is undertrained, you leave inches on the floor.

Strength training builds the foundation that makes every jump rep count. Trust the process.

Performance testing including the broad jump runs every month at EP. Every athlete.

Here’s why it matters: explosiveness isn’t a feeling. It’s a measurement. And a measurement means little without a trend.

When you test month over month, you stop guessing. You see exactly where the force is going, or where it isn’t. You identify the gap between how an athlete feels and what the ground is actually telling us.

So we test it. We record it. We compare it to last month. Then go back to work.

best ability is availability.

Our athletes train to dominate now — and to stay healthy for the long run.

Movement efficiency, tendon health, and recovery matter as much as power output.

The goal isn’t just to train harder, it’s to raise the standard.
