It was a privilege today to preside with the entire Brazoria County judiciary over the formal robing of Judge Courtney Gilbert. Judge Gilbert is the Presiding Judge of County Court at Law No. 1 & Probate Court. She serves with a quiet dignity and a servant's heart.

I was privileged to serve on a panel of Judges at this year's "Impaired Driving Symposium." So much has changed in the past year and were able to share best practices and take a look at how the judicial system will operate going forward.

You may vote by mail if you are over 65, have a disability, or will be absent from the County on election day. Think of our men & women serving in the military and your kids away at college!!

The deadline to VOTE BY MAIL for the General Election is October 26 at 5 PM.

It's simple:
1) Obtain an Application for a Ballot by Mail by using the link below.
2) Submit a signed Application for a Ballot by Mail.
3) Ballot is mailed to you.
4) Mark the ballot, sign, and place in envelope.
5) Return it to the County Clerk's office by mail or e-mail.
