Sunrise Rotary was honored to hear from Mary Moreno and the incredible team from Military Moms and Wives of Brazoria County about their ongoing efforts to support our troops overseas. 🇺🇸

For years, they have worked tirelessly to send care packages filled with food, toiletries, and encouragement to deployed service members — reminding them they are appreciated and never forgotten.

As postage costs continue to rise, sending these much-needed care packages is becoming more difficult. If you would like to support this important mission, donations of funds, products, or volunteer time are greatly appreciated.

Thank you to Mary and her team for all you do for our troops. ❤️🤍💙

Today, Sunrise Rotary welcomed District 5890 Governor Tom Kelchner, who shared highlights from the Rotary year and the incredible impact Rotary and District 5890 have made throughout our communities. From service projects to community partnerships, it was inspiring to hear how Rotarians continue to make a difference locally and around the world.

We also heard from Gina Aguirre Adams, President of the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber, along with Rebecca Zavala, an ambassador for the organization. They shared how the Chamber supports Hispanic-owned businesses by creating opportunities to network, collaborate, and grow. With over 300 members, the Chamber continues to strengthen and support the local business community.

Thank you to all of today’s speakers for your Service Above Self!
