The Phillips Academy Ice Rinks provides ice time in a safe, controlled, and friendly environment. The Phillips Academy Ice Rinks are comprised of two (2) ice skating rinks. Opened in February 2002 and later officially dedicated on June 8, 2002, the Ted Harrison Rink is the new home of Andover hockey. In addition to the 200' x 94' playing surface, this new state-of-the-art facility includes locker
rooms for all four PA hockey teams and visiting squads, plus an athletic training room, spacious lobby and viewing areas, and locker space for teams using the nearby Phelps Stadium during the fall and spring seasons. Later opening in 2004, the South Rink offers an NHL-sized surface and features figure skating amenities including a jump harness and rinkside sound system. The facility is utilized year-round for Andover teams, hockey camps, town youth hockey, figure skating and recreational skating.
