Human First Counseling Services is a quickly growing psychotherapy practice located in Andover, NJ. We provide counseling to adults, adolescents, and children through individual and group therapy. Our licensed clinical therapists have extensive background in working with a wide variety of mental health challenges. Meet our therapist Paul Bohrer, LPC!
Hi, I’m Paul — a therapist offering a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. I work with adults navigating ADHD/ADD, neurodivergence, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, identity concerns, and existential questions.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Public Health from Roger Williams University and a Master’s in Social Work from Montclair State University. My approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, existential philosophy, and somatic practices. I’m especially committed to affirming, inclusive care for neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals.
Therapy is a space to explore, grow, and build tools for meaningful change. I’d be honored to support you.
