Rain showers are lingering across Southcentral, with higher elevations of the mountains seeing a fresh coating of some snow. While the summer heat has been put on pause, our stretch of feeling like fall will stay with us today. Starting tomorrow and into the weekend we slowly warm by a few degrees.

Rain and snow will also build into parts of the Slope, as a front drops into the state. Meanwhile across the rest of Alaska, more rain showers are to be expected this week, with thunderstorms possible in parts of the Interior.
