With cancer being so prevalent in our society, most of us probably know someone that has had surgery and/or radiation as a treatment protocol. Both surgery and radiation can cause complications in the fascial system (connective tissues) which can lead to limited function, range of movement, loss of sensation, or nerve issues. Scar therapy can assist with regaining normalcy within these tissues! I recently completed an Oncology Scar Therapist training in New Zealand and look forward to assisting clients that have been on this challenging journey.
