MARS Parachutes

This summer, Mars Parachutes is offering up an exciting opportunity for students that are interested in 3D Printing and Design. “A Summer at Mars” will be available in 1 week training camps (returning campers can build up to higher levels) Throughout the entire training camp your students will get The unique opportunity to spend time at a 3D Printing and Parachute Manufacturing facility, with hands-on training and experience with 3D Design taught by both industry and educational professionals. The camp is directed by CTO of Mars Parachutes, Glen Rineer.

Your students will have the opportunity to develop their technical knowledge as well as their critical thinking skills by solving real world problems with 3D printing and design through training sessions, critical thinking projects, and collaborative workplace simulations. With this special program, your students will also be given opportunities to pilot drones and develop creative design projects of their own, using Mars Parachutes Manufacturing facility resources. Your students will not only be trained in 3D modeling and printing, but will be given the opportunity to apply what they have learned to real life situations.
