If you lead a rehab team, this is your next CEU event.
We bring in-person s*xuality and intimacy training directly to your clinic so your team can confidently address s*xuality like it’s the ADL we all know it is!
Curriculum includes mock treatment session practicum and an implementation lab so your clinicians can leave with a plan for clinic implementation and the confidence to do it!
This is for the patients you already see every day:
Stroke. Spinal cord injury. Chronic pain. Aging.
Who can host this in person CEU event?
- Rehab directors planning educational CEU events
- Clinic owners building specialty programs
- Team leads advocating for better patient care
- Universities preparing students for real practice
Your team earns 6 CEUs (0.6 AOTA CEUs) and leaves with skills they use immediately in sessions.
Raise your hand in the comments if you want this training 🙋♀️

If a patient on your brain injury unit flirts with you that might actually be a good sign.
Most clinicians are trained to shut it down and move on. But a s*xually affirming OT sees it differently. Flirtation after brain injury can be a sign that social skills are returning. That personality is coming back. And it’s one of the best openings you’ll ever get to start a conversation about dating, s*x, and relationships post-injury.
That reframe alone changes how you can show up in every session.
And it’s just one piece of the free staff conversation guide we built for clinicians working on traumatic brain injury units, covering four of the most common and most avoided scenarios:
1. S*xual harassment
2. A patient engaging in s*xual activity
3. S*xual flirtation
4. Questions about s*x
Each one is broken down by Rancho Los Amigos Level — because the same behavior requires a completely different response depending on where your patient is in their recovery. And most clinicians are treating all of them the same way.
The OT who never freezes in these moments? They’re a CSOT. This is exactly the kind of clinical framework the certification builds in you — across every population, every setting, and every conversation.

Brain injury doesn’t only change cognition, mobility, or daily routines. It often changes s*xual health too.
Research shows 60% of people with brain injury experience s*xual difficulties. About 75% report hypos*xual changes such as reduced desire or arousal, while 25% experience hypers*xual behaviors.
Yet many rehab teams receive little to no training on how to address these changes in treatment.
When clinicians have the right tools, they can support clients with s*xual participation, relationship communication, emotional adjustment, and safety after brain injury.
This blog explores why s*xual health changes after brain injury and how OT practitioners can respond in clinical care.

Did you know CSOT includes multiple S*xuality OT mock interviews with full analysis?
Watch real examples of how clinicians guide conversations about s*x and relationships in rehabilitation.
In one mock interview, you’ll observe a session with a spouse of a patient with PTSD and brain injury.
In another, you’ll follow Terrell, a 35-year-old physician living with a T12 spinal cord injury and mild TBI, who is navigating questions about dating, s*xual function, and what s*x might look like after injury.
Across these mock interviews you’ll learn:
🤝 how to ease client anxiety at the start of an evaluation
🗣️ the specific questions s*xuality OTs ask
⏱️ the sequence and pacing of the conversation
🔍 how clinicians seek clarification
🧠 how topics naturally flow during real sessions
These videos let you see what s*xuality-focused OT care actually looks like in practice.
The mock interviews, analysis, and full training are included inside the Certified S*xuality OT (CSOT) program.
Access these by enrolling into the CSOT! The certification is on sale right now for $315! Link in bio to enroll right now!

Are you an OT student who’s already thinking about how to bring s*x and intimacy into the work you’ll do with clients? But …
🧑🏫 your professors aren’t addressing it
❓ your professors are putting it back on you and saying “well, why don’t you do a project on it”
🤩 your professors are, in fact, addressing s*xuality in their curriculum and have encouraged you to take the CSOT courses
The Certified S*xuality OT (CSOT) program was created to help you develop skills in areas that most OTs still avoid. You’ll learn how to support clients navigating intimacy, desire, identity, pain, disability, pleasure, trauma, partnership, and connection—because these experiences are all domains of occupation.
🎓 Our Student Scholarship is for ANY OT or OTA student and you get access for $315 (regularly $449).
Here’s what’s included:
— 4 self-paced modules
— 1 live virtual workshop
— 2 mock interviews with patient actors
— 6 AOTA-approved contact hours (0.6 CEU)
— Your CSOT credential (once you pass the OTR or COTA exam)
— 2 bonus lectures added this year (see our last post 😉)
You don’t have to wait until you’re licensed to start learning how to address s*xuality in OT practice.
