Finally getting to see one of my favorite musicals makes my heart do backflips. The staging, the score, the flowers on the piano, the whole atmosphere: absolutely incredible from start to finish. and getting to meet members of the cast at stage door afterward and have my playbill signed made the day even better.

I also begged to play Javert in Les Mis someday. I love him as Hades, but I need him to sing The Confrontation and throw 24601 around a stage in my city ASAP.

Also told that he really needs to stop turning around and breaking our hearts. Get it together, Orpheus! 🤣

Matching our San Diego 5K outfits to our runDisney Brooks shoes just felt right 💙👟

Dreaming of being back in San Diego already because today’s my first day back up north. Yesterday was honestly such an awful day, and having to leave Kevin in the middle of all of it made it even harder. Grateful for the miles we got together and already counting down until the next trip back ☀️🌊

First run back from injury - and though I still have a lot of training and healing to go to be back where I was, I made it through without pain! 😭🙏🏻 Our outfits coordinated with our matching shoes and everyone stopped to tell us how much the loved them. It was beautiful to go through Downtown San Diego seeing iconic ships like the USS Midway and the Star of India. We also passed the port where the Disney Wonder docks and had it been there, I honestly could say I would’ve ran right to it and not finished the race. 🤣 It’s always wonderful to start and finish our runs with cheering us on and after losing our beloved Disneyland races, I’m thankful we get to see him in San Diego! 2 down, one race to go for my first SoCal triple crown! 🏅
