The long-awaited Little Arabia freeway signs are nearly here.

In coming weeks, Caltrans is set to put up Little Arabia District signs along the 5 and 91 freeways, bringing new attention to a beloved part of our city.

A life-sized replica of the signs, which are brown rather than green to mark a cultural designation, is shown at City Hall.

The story of Little Arabia is part of the story of Anaheim itself.

Starting with immigrants from Arab countries in the 1980s, Arab Americans have revitalized Brookhurst Street and created a community that has grown overtime.

The restaurants, shops and services of Little Arabia are a great place to eat, shop or do business.
