Yesterday we volunteered at a pre-Mother’s Day painting fundraiser hosted by the Ebell Club of Anaheim1. Unlike the club’s traditional evening “wine and paint” nights, this daytime event featured mimosas, gifts for the mothers in attendance, and a cheerful spring atmosphere. Guests spent the afternoon creating a whimsical spring painting featuring a gnome relaxing on a flower-covered swing.

Before guests arrived, we prepared each attendee’s space with canvases, paint palettes, brushes, napkins, and water cups. Throughout the event, we replenished supplies, changed out water cups, served light refreshments, and ensured each guest had everything they needed to enjoy a delightful afternoon. We were happy to be part of this creative fundraiser supporting the club and its programs.

Today we celebrate our own mothers and all the women who make a difference in our lives each day. Happy Mother’s Day!
