Before becoming an Addiction Medicine Physican and Emergency Medicine Doctor, Dr. Chris Schanbacher was a person searching for recovery.
Today, Chris is in long-term recovery and dedicates his career to helping others find hope, healing, and a path forward. In this video, he shares parts of his personal recovery journey, what inspired him to enter the field of addiction medicine, and why he felt connected to the mission and approach of Ember Recovery.

We’re excited to welcome Kelli to YSS as our new Financial Controller!
One of the best parts of joining YSS is getting the opportunity to see the impact of our work across programs and communities. Kelli has already been out visiting sites and connecting with the work happening every day, including a stop at the Iowa Homeless Youth Center and YSS Rooftop Gardens. 🧡🌱
