Cross Bar Management Area is a 12,000 acre hidden gem North of Amarillo Texas. Cross Bar was designated as a Special Recreation Management Area in 2020. The Cross Bar offers hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and hunting opportunities. Public access by permit only which requires traversing the Canadian River. Good morning everyone. The Cross Bar did get a little bit of rain last night. Roads are just slightly muddy not bad but just a heads up that you will get some mud on your car. It’s a beautiful morning and we hope to see you out for open trails day.
