A huge thank you to the Amarillo Fire Department for visiting our 1st graders at Sanborn Elementary today! Our students learned three life-saving rules for fire safety:

Mr. Griego showed off the heavy-duty gear firefighters wear to stay safe, and then the real fun started outside! Students got an up-close look at the fire truck and all the specialized equipment used to fight fires. To top it all off, everyone got to hop inside the fire truck—even Mr. Hernandez couldn't resist taking a turn in the driver’s seat! 🚒
