As 2023 comes to a close, Services of Hope - Amarillo has consistently fed 300 -500 + people at our monthly pantries. We delivered food to over 40 home bound seniors monthly. In addition, we just completed assisting familes in the Panhandle to obtain help from the Texas Homeowners Assistance Fund with their overdue mortages and property taxes to allow the participants to keep their family homes.
Help us get 2024 off to a good start by donating to the The Panhandle Gives for Services of Hope - Amarillo. In addition to continuing to feed our community, one of our main goals for 2024 is to bring financial education and counseling to the low to moderate income familes in our community. We have a First Time Home Buyers class planned for February. We want to provide valuable insight, guidance, and knowledge to future homeowners, as well as financial education to help our participating families overcome their financial challenges and achieve more financial independence and stability.
