Thankful Thursdays
Today, I personally wanna say that I'm thankful that He "makes us" to lie down in green pastures. In January this year, I began to feel depleted. I needed rest badly. Then, by February, I was getting very frustrated because I felt like I was becoming too busy. And busyness and me don't mix...(well we use to, but I broke up with it years ago)...being busy is not how I like to operate or flow...but anywoo, I was feeling so consumed by life that even my one on one time with God was getting greatly affected. Then the last week or two of February. I started to feel like God was pulling me away from social media. Every time I would log on, my body would tense up. Thank God I've learned to listen to my body and i said okay I'm laying this down. My cup was empty and I couldn't pour from an empty cup so I took much needed time to get nourished again by spending time in His presence, journaling, exercising, eating healthier, getting more sleep, laughter (watching a whole lot of comedy) and being more present. Lastly, allowing God to prepare me for this new season of life.
