When I moved to Amarillo in 2018, I was absolutely shocked at the amount of homeless, abandoned, owner-surrendered, and injured dogs and puppies. The numbers were, and still are, staggering. My mission is two-fold. One, to rescue and to get these animals’ immediate needs met. Their needs range anywhere from immediate medical intervention to getting fosters lined up. Milo has been adopted, and his new family is keeping his name!
Milo was exactly the guy they had been waiting for. His new family has always shared their home with big mixed-breed pups, and they were looking for a laid-back, happy companion to add to their family.
Milo now has a mom, dad, and an adult human sister who are excited to love him. Their senior companion pup recently passed away from cancer, and they knew their home was ready for the joy that comes with four new paws.
We couldn’t be happier for Milo and his new family. Have the best life, Milo! We can’t wait to see all the adventures ahead. ❤️
