To successfully complete your Class A CDL training, you will need to complete classroom training through an ELDT-approved theory training program. In addition, you will need to get a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) which requires completion of the basic knowledge points covered in the FMCSA class material and submission to the Training Provider Registry through your chosen course provider.
