Sprouting Skies Homestead Rabbitry

The younger litters are gorgeous, excited to see them grow! Two first time does Sandy and Lilah had litters of 7 and 8. Marigold is getting older and only had one massive kit who is still giant compared to its foster litter mates! New buck Newt proved himself too.

Made some curtains for one of my nest boxes today to see if it’ll keep one of my Silverudd pullets from sleeping in there, she’s relentless! Also playing around with growing some fodder.

My girls sure aren’t giving me many eggs right now with the daylight and molting but I LOVE when the nest boxes contain beauties like these. It’s hard to see but the bottom green one even has a blue stripe around the middle too. Also look at these cute lazy bunnies chilling with their momma 🐰

Sharing some rooster love. George went off to a new flock this week so my young up and coming boys can get a chance with the ladies. Splash Silverudd, Splash laced silver Wyandotte “Captain”, and two Crele Pendesenca boys. I’m excited about all of these guys for their respective projects :)
