Baking! A favorite event in our memory care community “The Courtyards,” is our Creative Cooking program. Residents assist the team in mixing, measuring, and creating delicious treats and snacks. Today, monster cookies! They are as good as they look! Each resident enjoyed a cookie with their afternoon coffee or tea, enjoying the product of their efforts.
This Memorial Day, we gathered to honor the lives and legacies of those lost in recent wars through “Ways to Honor and Remember.” This program featured powerful portrait tributes to fallen soldiers, painted by MonteCedro residents and staff. This event invited us to reflect, remember and ensure their stories, and all the stories of fallen soldiers are never forgotten.
