We are an all volunteer, foster based program and became 501c3 late 2017. We take in dogs all over Oregon and have created a program to be able to help surrounding states with a high kill rate. Our adoption process is lengthy, but worth all the steps. We are only looking for the very best fit for the dogs in our care. Its never first come first adopt - rather- first perfect home gets to join our P

Juniper is a total love bug. She goes 100 miles a minute with fly by kisses and happy trail always wagging. Shes smart and needs smart owners.
Juniper is young and needs a family that has goals to train and wants to go on adventures.
Juniper would be a great hiking, running, adventure buddy.
Juniper sleeps in her kennel at night, knows sit but is often too excited to do tricks. She loves fetch. Doesn’t mind the rain and is always happy to go.
Juniper came to us because she swallowed a rock. It wasn’t her first time, but since being in foster where there are no rocks in the backyard for her to eat she’s had no problems.
Fenced yard with no rocks required for her perfect home.
UPDATING BIO to add she’s a total water dog and is very food motivated!
She would thrive with another playful dog and active family.
If Juniper sounds like the perfect hyper happy go lucky puppy that you’ve been looking for please email [email protected] with Juniper in the subject line.

Fire season is here in Oregon and Washington… we need to be prepared.

Remember 2020 when we had fires near Hagg Lake, Salem, and the Molalla area? Were you prepared? Many families had little notice before needing to evacuate. Take a moment this summer to prepare, just in case…

Things to consider:

• Have a crate or carrier for every cat, rabbit, ferret, guinea pig, bird, or other small animal in your household.

• Make sure all microchip information is current and registered with up-to-date contact information.

• For livestock owners, practice loading animals before an emergency occurs. Map out evacuation routes and keep non-nylon halters and lead ropes readily available.

• Ensure your dogs have properly fitted collars, ID tags, and leashes that are easy to access.

• Keep medications, prescription foods, and medical supplies packed and ready to go.

• Have copies of vaccination records and important veterinary records available.

• Create a list of places you can go in the event of an evacuation, including friends, family, boarding facilities, or pet-friendly hotels.

• Keep recent photos of your pets, including photos of you with them, in case ownership needs to be verified.

Wildfires can spread quickly, and evacuation orders can happen with very little warning. Taking a few minutes now to make a plan could save valuable time and reduce stress if an emergency occurs.

What steps have you taken to prepare your family and pets for fire season?
