In recent weeks, both the House and Senate have voted to repeal Pennsylvania's sales and use tax exemption for qualifying data centers, reflecting growing bipartisan scrutiny of how the Commonwealth should regulate and incentivize this rapidly expanding industry. Final action is still pending as budget and tax negotiations continue.
