Dinner Ride

Please join us for the dinner ride Friday as we take a ride to Country Burger in Murphy. The restaurant is located at 104 N. Murphy Road in the northeast corner of Murphy Road & 14th Street; 972.516.2210; www.countryburgertx.com. Country Burger does not serve any adult beverages, but they are BYOB and welcome us to bring our own.
Stan Green will be leading us this evening with Rick’s assistance. We will leave the Allen Harley-Davidson shop at 7:00, so plan to arrive around 6:30 for a brief safety talk and to hear directions for the 16-mile route we’ll be taking … ETA at the restaurant is 7:30. The AccuWeather forecast: partly sunny, breezy & 63°. We hope to see you Friday.

Breakfast Ride

Come join your fellow Chapter members Saturday morning for our May breakfast ride to Po’ Melvin’s in Irving. They have an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with a made-to-order omelette station for $8.99. You can view all buffet items at www.pomelvins.com. Kick-stands up at 09:00, so please arrive at the Allen HD shop around 8:30 to get staged and hear a brief safety talk. Walt will be leading the group on a very nice 39-mile route; Glenn will be assisting. We should see highs Saturday of 69°. See you then!


Sunday 5-5

Come join us Sunday, Cinco de Mayo for the 4th stop of the 2013 Panther Creek HOG Chapter Taco Challenge. Each month through November we’ll be visiting ‘taco stands’ in search of the best street tacos in north Texas … this month we’re going to Tacos & Avocados in Roanoke. Rick Pridemore has planned a very nice 43-mile route heading west through Lewisville & Flower Mound to the restaurant. Steve Gentry will be assisting Rick on this ride.

Please be at the Allen shop by 10:00 to get staged, hear a brief safety talk & directions for the route we’ll be taking … kick-stands up at 10:30. The forecast for the day: high near 75° with a possible afternoon shower.
Following the ride each month, a ballot will be emailed to the participants so we can rate the tacos. Come join in on the fun – there are some awesome taco places in the area!
