We are Nail Techs not Podiatrist. We are not legally allowed to cut ingrown out especially if it’s swollen and or infected. You can give the client temporary relief by filing some of the sides of the toenail. But if you are going too far and cutting them, which can possibly lead to an infection. You are operating outside your scope of practice.
