Just as in gas or diesel powered cars, blown fuses in electric cars will cause the various electrical components to stop working. However, it may also bring your electric car to a halt. Fuses are inexpensive to replace so have them checked regularly to keep the juices flowing.

If you notice that your car or truck has become somewhat bouncy, it may be time to have your suspension system inspected. This is particularly true if you haven’t replaced your shock absorbers in a long while as they may have already become faulty.

If you feel a shimmy or unaccounted for movement in your steering wheel while driving at higher speeds, the problem could be with wheel alignment, wheel balance, or even a bent wheel. Have your mechanic inspect your car to pinpoint the problem.
