CERT TRAINING
Good morning, Alhambra. Each Spring and Fall, our Alhambra Fire Department provides free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training to our Caring Community.
This training is important and helpful for getting more and more Alhambrans prepared for a disaster. Recently, Southern California experienced significant seismic activity with the 7.1 earthquake in Ridgecrest. We are reminded that we will experience earthquakes and other disasters.
Our job as a community is to be as prepared as possible. The goal of CERT training is to improve your preparedness for responding to your family needs during a disaster and to support your neighbors during a disaster.
The first step is to get the CERT training completed. If you wish to save your spot in the Fall 2019 class (Sept. 3rd), please RSVP by email to confirm spot at [email protected]
