I’ve noticed a trend, and I’m genuinely curious.
When people are single, they prioritize themselves. They hit the gym, train with purpose, and make incredible progress.
Then weeks or months after getting into a relationship, they disappear from the gym, stop taking care of themselves, and let their health slide.
What is it about being in a relationship that causes so many people to lose focus on their own physical health? If your motivation was based mostly on looking good for other people, did that motivation disappear the moment you felt “locked down”?
To me, that’s the difference between training for external validation and training because you genuinely value your health.
A relationship should add to your life, not replace the habits that made you a healthier, more confident person in the first place.
