Delightfully Modern
04/12/2024
Hiya friends. Some sad news to relate today. A variety of factors have converged to make Delightfully Modern no longer a viable enterprise. This Saturday, April 13th at will be my last market. That's tomorrow! I'll have as much stock with me as I can and everything except furniture will be 50% off. Furniture will be priced as marked, which will be literally as low as I'm willing to go before I just start keeping pieces for myself.
For my reseller friends, I'm happy to bundle items after 1 PM and the market ends at 2 PM. So if you have cash to spare and want to snap up some pre-curated, washed, and repaired items for cheap, swing by then. I will not be bundling for resellers until 1 PM so please be prepared to pay the 50% off price before then.
Swing by to shop or just to say hi for the last time. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported our microbusiness over the past five years. It has meant the world to be able to do what I love and share so many stories and treasures with all of you.
Love,
Ali (and Doug and Chester)

This Saturday! Last market of the year! I'm joining some amazing vendors for a holiday pop-up in Northeast DC. I'll have some vintage Christmas and lots of great gift options like barware, trays, art and unique items you'd only find vintage. Don't miss this last opportunity to shop Delightfully Modern before Christmas. Check out the other vendors and drop some follows before Saturday!

Beautiful walnut mid-century modern wheeled server with a leaf on each end and a glass top miraculously did not sell today in Georgetown so it's up for grabs! Sized perfectly for city living at 40 1/2" long with two 12" leaves that fold up, 20" wide at its widest point (surfboard top) and 31 1/2" high. Interior compartment is open and 14" high. Lovely condition with wear commensurate with its age. Unmarked, but distinctive North Carolina provenance as the frame resembles similar pieces from Broyhill or Lenoir of the era. $600 and happy to deliver to DC/Baltimore for a reasonable additional fee. Comment SOLD to claim or DM for additional information.
