The mission of the FF&TI is to further the advancement of education and training to individuals in the profession of firefighting and associated fields and to support those families that have endured a catastrophic event and are in need of assistance where the catastrophic event occurred during the provision of fire protection services.

In May 2009 the first Training Days was hosted in Alexandria with 165 students in attendance. It has been presented since with the core mission of carrying on the legacy of firefighters lost as well as their love for the job. We bet some of you were at this event and remember the lineup!! Fred Ill, John Grasso, Tony Carroll, Joel Kanasky, Dan McMaster, John Salka… not pictured was Jimmy Hodges.
