If requested, we provide some students with additional financial assistance, counseling, and other support. As a result, we have a 97% success rate based on first semester college GPAs of 2.0 or above. Many scholarships are for one year only, so tracking student success, beyond the freshman year, is randomly done. Since 2007, our students have attended 142 of our nation’s top universities.

Alfred Street Baptist Church (ASBC) established a scholarship in memory of Alexandria lynching victims Joseph McCoy and Benjamin Thomas. Alexandria Virginia's Spring2Action celebrates its 15th anniversary on April 21st with an event known as the "Day of Giving." This annual online fundraiser helps local nonprofits to raise critical funds. This Scholarship Application Registration Deadline is APRIL 18TH. The ASBC Foundation annually awards scholarships that range from $1,000 to $30,000. The majority of the scholarships are non-renewable, one-time awards, however, we also award several that are renewable for up to 4 years ($20,000 - $30,000). Those who complete the application and meet the general eligibility requirements will be considered for all scholarships, some of which have further specific guidelines/requirements. https://webportalapp.com/sp/login/asbc_foundation_application
